One alarm rings every phone in the group at the same time. Each person taps Acknowledge. Whoever is last, or doesn't answer before the cut-off, loses.
The Android app wakes a locked phone. The web app works on any phone from the browser, but only rings while it is open.
What happens if you miss it
Five pounds goes into the group pot, collected by GoCardless under the Direct Debit Guarantee.
You are left out of the next one. Your organiser sets exactly what that means for your group.
How it works
Your organiser gives you an invite code. Enter it once.
The organiser sets the alarm times. Every member's phone rings together.
Tap Acknowledge. The server records the order. Last to answer loses, so does anyone who misses the cut-off.
Installing on Android
- Tap Get the Android app above in Chrome.
- Open the download. If asked, allow Chrome to install unknown apps.
- If Play Protect warns about an unknown developer, choose More details, then Install anyway.
- Open Rollcall and complete the setup checklist: notifications, full-screen alarm, battery optimisation off.
Money
Linking a Direct Debit is optional. Payments are collected under the Direct Debit Guarantee and you can cancel the mandate with your bank at any time. Penalties go into the group pot, which the organiser settles.
